Local Grantors & Funding Resources
- The Cedar Rapids Public Library serves as a Cooperating Collection for the Foundation Center in New York and has many great resources, including an excellent online database of funders
- Iowa Arts Council
- Humanities Iowa
- Iowa Conservation & Preservation Consortium provides two scholarships of $500 per year to the Campbell Center for Historic Preservation Studies in Mount Carroll, Illinois.
- Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation
- Linn County Historic Preservation Commission
- Witwer Trust Grant Program administered by the Linn County Board of Supervisors
- Historical Resource Development Program of the State Historical Society of Iowa is part of the REAP act (Resource Enhancement and Protection Act) and has three pools of money for grants: 1. Documentary Collections; 2. Museums; and 3. Historic Preservation.
