Events

The Consortium sponsors several workshops each year geared toward staff (including support staff) of member libraries and institutions. Members are encouraged to send ideas for workshops to Jason at jbengtson@kaplan.edu. These events are offered at no cost to members and often include free lunch! What a great way to network with colleagues.

The date's been set for our spring workshop! We'll all get together on April 21 at noon to hear about local genealogical resources. We'll get to hear presentations from Katharine Hardy at the African American Cultural Center, Charlene Hansen at the Linn County Genealogical Society, and Jo Pearson from Marion Public Library, who will talk about resources available in the Metro Library Network. Stay tuned for additional details as we confirm.
